About the Author

Dr. Carl Pfeiffer, author of 16 books and over 200 published papers has been a biomedical scientist; a scientist for NASA’s Biotechnology Division at the Ames Research Center; a visiting professor at Kyoto Medical School, 1st Dept. of Surgery, as well as Kobe Medical School International Center for Medical Research. Recipient of the Eleanor Roosevelt International Cancer Research Fellowship, Dr. Pfeiffer was a professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland Medical School, and at the Veterinary College at Virginia Tech.

His degrees are from Duke University (B.A.), Southern Illinois University (M.A., Ph.D.) and Harvard University (M.Sc.). He resides with his wife, dogs and horses on a farm in Blacksburg, Virginia. He enjoys writing and reading, golf, kayaking, and oil painting.
